Kia/ Hyundai DUAL-CLUTCH TRANSMISSION (DCT) Problems Apparently there is a big problems with the & 7 speed DCT (dual clutch transmission) automatic transmission. I believe they are fitted to a range of Kia/Hyundai cars, I believe Ceeds/Optima/Sportage etc. It is an automatic gearbox without a torque converter. The car itself is very impressive. She had an old style i10 previously and this is a big improvement. The auto box is not a true automatic it is an automated manual transmission which is quite sluggish but she is simply happy not to have a clutch pedal. Looks more distinctive than original model.
